All Eddie Rush wants to do is write his songs and perform at Bella’s – an exotic dance club. But Bella’s is being shuttered by the new morality and even Elisabeth, his girlfriend, decides to split rather than wait out the final hours of Eddie’s slumping career as Times Square gets cleaned up. With Elisabeth gone, Eddie decides to raise the money himself for the new club. Eddie's history of bad choices resurfaces when he lets himself be talked into hooking up with Lou, a small-time thug, to run errands for Mr. Kaine, a powerful corrupt real estate developer.
