With a strong focus on project development and producing, Akaya Films supports the development of projects from the idea stage to final distribution. Akaya Films financed and produced countless local and international independent films for DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL television and theatrical release. Acting also as an international sales agent rep, Akaya Films continues to acquire and own the distribution rights of many local and foreign films for theatrical, non theatrical-educational, festivals, DVD and television.
Akaya Films provides support for out of town and international producers as well as production companies when shooting in New York and across the United States. With sister companies based in Europe and Asia, Akaya Films, as a line producer, provides support for the American and International film, television and commercial advertising industries.
